What is Chartered Networking?
Chartered Networking is a new category of social networking built on the communities you already belong to - schools, clubs, and local networks. Unlike open social platforms, every network is approved, every member is known, and every connection is intentional. No algorithms, no ads, no strangers.
Is MilaNet free to use?
Downloading the app and joining a network is completely free. Networks (clubs, schools, and communities) are also free to create and run. Organizations - businesses that want a presence inside networks - pay a small monthly subscription starting at $15/month.
When will MilaNet be available?
MilaNet is launching soon on both the App Store and Google Play. Follow the countdown on our website or get in touch to be notified the moment we go live.
How do I join a network?
Download the app and search for your network by name, use the proximity tool to find networks near you, or scan a QR code shared by your network administrator. All memberships require approval from a network administrator before you're granted access.
What can I do as a network member?
Once approved, you'll have access to your network's notices and push notifications, events, documents, and the organizations that serve your community - all in one place, without the noise of open group chats or email threads.
What is MilaNet Assist?
MilaNet Assist is a built-in help feature available on every major screen. Tap the lightbulb icon to activate it - then tap anything on screen to see a plain-language explanation of what it does, without actually triggering any action. It's the guided tour that's always running in the background.
What types of networks can use MilaNet?
MilaNet is built for any existing real-world community - sports clubs, schools, homeowner associations, religious communities, hobby groups, gyms, and more. If your community already exists offline, MilaNet gives it a proper digital home.
How does membership approval work?
Network administrators control who joins. New members can apply via search, proximity, or QR code - but they only gain access once an administrator approves their request. This keeps your network trusted and intentional from day one.
How is MilaNet different from WhatsApp or email groups?
WhatsApp groups and email threads are unstructured, noisy, and hard to manage at scale. MilaNet gives network operators proper tools - targeted notices, event management, document storage, moderation controls, and role-based access - in a single platform, completely free.
How does an organization get visibility inside networks?
Once you create an organization on MilaNet, you can join the networks most relevant to your business. Your organization becomes visible to members of those networks - people who already have a trusted connection to your community - and you can share offers, post updates, and collect endorsements.
What's the difference between the Starter and Scale plans?
The Starter plan ($15/month) covers a single organization. The Scale plan ($20/month) lets you manage up to five organizations under one account - ideal for businesses that operate across multiple brands or locations. Both plans include a free first month.
