Subscription Terms

Demico (Pty) Ltd ("Demico", "we", "us", "our") provides subscription features and functionality to users of the MilaNet Platform.

By subscribing to MilaNet subscription features, you agree to these Subscription Terms and Conditions ("Subscription Terms").

1. Subscription Agreement

By selecting a subscription plan in the MilaNet app and completing the associated purchase flow, you agree to be bound by these Subscription Terms.

MilaNet provides an account-level subscription model:

  • One subscription per user account

  • Subscription data is stored to manage your access to subscription features

You may select a plan as displayed in the app, including monthly and annual options.

Your selected tier determines, among other things, the number of organizations you may publish (your "org limit").

3. Trial Period (First Month Free)

MilaNet may provide a 30-day free trial for new users.

The 30-day trial:

  • Applies once per user account

  • Applies regardless of whether the user chooses a monthly or annual plan during the first subscription attempt

  • Is not applied again if you cancel your subscription and later subscribe again

4. Billing and Renewal (Apple App Store and Google Play)

Subscription payment and renewal are processed by the applicable platform provider:

  • For iOS, subscription payments and renewals are handled by the Apple App Store

  • For Android, subscription payments and renewals are handled by Google Play


We do not process your card or payment details.

Where applicable, we will create/update your subscription access in the Platform based on the subscription status confirmed by the relevant store provider.

5. Cancellation and When Access Ends

You may cancel your subscription at any time using the controls available through the relevant app store (or in-app, where supported by the store flow).

Cancellation:

  • Takes effect at the end of your current billing period

  • If you cancel, your subscription status will remain active until the end of the current period

After cancellation takes effect (end of current period):

  • Organizations that were published due to your subscription may become unpublished and remain visible only to the account owner/admin

6. Upgrades and Downgrades (Proration)

If you change plans (e.g., upgrading/downgrading between tiers or switching between monthly and annual), the change may take effect immediately, and the store provider may apply proration according to its policies.

Where plan changes are supported, we will update your access based on the subscription status confirmed by the relevant store provider.

7. Refunds

We do not offer refunds directly.

Any refunds, if available, are governed by the applicable app store policies and applicable law.

8. Termination by Demico

We may suspend or terminate your subscription access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Subscription Terms or misused the Platform or subscription features.

9. Updates and Support

We may provide updates to the Platform and subscription-related support during the period when your subscription access is active.

10. Privacy

Your subscription-related use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may revise these Subscription Terms at any time.

We will provide notice of significant changes where required.

12. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms and your use of the MilaNet subscription features are governed by the laws of South Africa.
