Every event looks like a single schedule from the outside. But from the inside - there's a unique schedule for each attendee. A competitor entered in three sessions out of hundreds, a parent cheering their daughter's field events, a spectator scrambling between locations to watch their heroes. Whether it's a Sunday social or national event - the entire schedule is irrelevant to any one attendee, but those few sessions are everything. MilaNet lets attendees easily find and follow only what's theirs, checks the entire schedule for clashes and accuracy before it's ever published, and when something inevitably changes - a time, day, or location - followers hear about it first.

Who can create an event?
Administrators of both Networks and Organizations can create their events.
Who can see an event?
Any member of the Network an event belongs to - whether the event was created by the Network itself or by one of its associated Organizations.
Can members interact with an event before they RSVP?
Members can see everything, but following a session requires an RSVP. If they follow first, MilaNet registers the RSVP for them automatically.
Can an event stay hidden while it's still being prepared?
Yes - an event stays unpublished and invisible until the organiser chooses to publish. The whole schedule can be prepared without anyone seeing an unfinished version.
Does MilaNet handle RSVP, directions, calendar syncing, contact details, and links?
Yes, along with a description for the event and an image, which doubles as the flyer broadcast with the announcement on the feed.
Do sessions have to be imported using spreadsheet, or can they be created manually?
Either. Sessions can be created, edited, or removed one at a time, or in bulk with an import - full control either way.
What exactly gets checked before an import goes live?
Each session is checked for a valid date, start and end time, location, and title - end times can't be before or equal to the start, and the date has to fall within the event itself. Once individual sessions pass, the whole set is checked for clashes: nothing at the same location can overlap with another session that day, whether that's two new sessions in the file or a new one against something already on the schedule. Only once everything passes does anything get created, changed, or removed - if any check fails, nothing happens, and the file needs fixing and re-uploading.
Is there a limit to how many sessions can be imported at once?
Each import is capped at 1,000 sessions. Programs exceeding that limit can simply be broken down into multiple batches.
How are location names handled during an import?
Similar or duplicate names are flagged, and the administrator can choose to merge them into one. Any location left with no sessions afterward is automatically cleared away.
How do attendees choose which sessions to follow?
Attendees can either browse the full program or search for a specific session, and then just tap to follow.
Does following sessions hide the rest of the schedule?
No. The full program is always there. Following adds a toggle to switch between the full program and just the sessions they've followed.
What are the benefits of following a session?
Followed sessions can be filtered into their own view, and if one changes - a different time, day, location, or cancellation - the follower is immediately notified of the change.
How does nudging a session work?
It delays that session, and every later session that day at the same location, by a set time - anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours.
Can a nudge push sessions into the next day, or create a new clash?
No. A nudge is checked before it runs, and refused if it would overlap another session or run past the end of the day.
Who is notified about a nudge?
Followers of any of the affected sessions are immediately notified using a push notification.
What is a session reschedule?
Changing a session's time, its location, or cancelling it outright - any one of those, or a combination.
What happens when a session is rescheduled?
If a session moves, the original entry is updated to show what changed, and a new entry appears at its destination with the new day, time, or location. If a session is cancelled, the original entry is marked accordingly. Session followers are notified automatically, and the administrator can also elect to notify every attendee.
